2026 WORLD BLACK BASS CHAMPIONSHIPS XX
LAKE HAMILTON, HOT SPRINGS AK USA
You can partner with Team Australia as we compete on the world stage
THE OPPORTUNITY
Team Australia Bass will represent Australia at the 2026 Black Bass World Championships in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
With the campaign now entering a finalisation phase (June 30 close), we are focusing on a 3-month window (August–October 2026) — where preparation, travel, and competition come together.
THE CAMPAIGN
This isn’t a one-off trip — it’s a real-time content campaign, shared as it happens. This is a showcase, we want fishing in the olympics.
From final preparation in Australia through to competing in the USA, we’ll be documenting the journey across our social platforms and the personal channels of the anglers.
August – Final Preparation On-water sessions, gear setup, decision-making and behind-the-scenes content.
September – Travel & Practice Arrival in the USA, practice days, adapting to new waters, and building momentum.
Late September – October – Competition Daily updates, results, key moments and real-time storytelling from the World Championships.
WHAT WE OFFER BRAND PARTNERS
We offer integration into the campaign.
We reach a highly engaged Australian fishing audience. Partners will be integrated as part of the journey, not placed alongside it.
Across the campaign, partners receive:
• consistent visibility across all campaign content
• real-time exposure during international USA competition - the home of bass fishing!
• regular social media content (posts, reels & stories)
• dedicated partner features and brand-focused content
• inclusion in campaign highlights and tournament recaps
• access to campaign imagery and content for your own use
Our focus is simple — to ensure your brand is seen in a way that feels natural, relevant, and connected to what we’re doing.
THIS APPROACH WORKS
In South Africa's 4-week campaign period in 2025, we generated:
• 190,000+ Facebook views
• 118,000+ Instagram views
All through real, in-the-moment content — not staged or overproduced.
With the USA campaign, we expect this to increase significantly.
WHY?
Our audience isn’t passive.
They are:
• actively engaged in fishing and outdoor lifestyle
• purchasing gear and following real-world content
• invested in the journey and results
This creates an opportunity for brands to connect in a way that feels genuine — not forced.
INVESTMENT & FUNDING REQUIREMENTS
In 2019 and 2022, Australia’s participation was entirely self-funded by the anglers. For 2024 & 2025, with support from generous companies and individuals through an online raffle, and an auction to fish with each team member, the team successfully offset some costs. In 2026, Team Australia is seeking support to compete at the highest level of bass fishing once again.
We would love to explore partnerships highlighting Australian angling culture, regional waters and Australia’s reputation in competitive fishing alongside your brand. All anglers are comfortable sharing, are confident on camera and with media and have prominent respectable social media followings.
Our funding target is $60,000 AUD. This has been based off previous years expenses and with the knowledge of the costs associated with travel in the USA.
Base Team Expenses (rounded) in 2025 - A team of Six to South Africa:
Car Hire & Practice Boat and Skipper Expenses: $10,000
Flights & (Pre-Comp) Accomodation Expenses: $13,000
Equipment Hire & Freight Purchases: $1,500
Entry & Competition Accomodations (all inclusive): $27,500
Total Expenses for 2025 = $52,000 (approx $8,600 per angler - not including fishing gear purchases or leisure activities)
