Team Australia Bass brings together elite anglers to compete internationally and represent Australia with pride.
The team is passionate about growing the profile of competitive fishing in Australia and supporting the sport’s long-term international development - who knows we might get fishing into the olympics one day!
Team Australia represents the nation at the World Black Bass Championships, an international freshwater fishing tournament bringing together elite anglers from across the globe. Team Aus has already proven themselves internationally, bagging 2nd Place - in Italy 2024 & 3rd Place - in South Africa 2025. Meaning they are recognised as one of the strongest emerging nations in international tournament fishing.
They will compete against 19 other countries from the 1st to the 3rd of October in 2026. Lake Hamilton will host them, a 7,460-acre man-made lake one of three man-made lakes along the Ouachita River Arkansas USA.
